About My Education and Socialization, LLC
My Education and Socialization, LLC is a tutoring service where scholars and tutor interact in an online environment. My Education and Socialization creates stimulating activities that will support individual’s development and enhance their learning skills. To provide opportunities for individuals to practice and apply their learned skills to an activity/lesson. Social skills are incorporated into academic activities. Through learning activities, scholars will improve their confidence, and develop social skills while sharing their knowledge on topics/lessons. My Education and Socialization creates activities to enhance and encourage scholars to apply their critical thinking skills. Scholars are challenged to use their creativity to solve a problem. Scholars will share their imagination to think outside the box for finding various ways to solve a problem.
My Education and Socialization is an online tutoring/learning environment designed to tutor individuals in selected academic subjects/topics. Such as math: adding and subtracting or ELA: reading comprehension, the tutoring session will be posted with the date, the time of the session, the price, the duration of the session, the grade level, and the learning objective. Parents and scholars can select the academic subjects that best fits their needs or their child's need. After parents or scholars select their tutoring session, complete the necessary forms, and pay for the session. An email with the link to the session will be sent to the parent/scholar’s email address. Any additional materials or prerequisite the scholar will need for the session will be mentioned in the description of the session posted and emailed to the client). The scholar will join other scholars in the tutoring session. The tutoring session will consist of 4 to 6 scholars in the session. The duration of the tutoring session is 45 to 55 minutes depending on the session category. My Education and Socialization sessions are designed for parents/scholars to pay for the specific tutoring session(s) they need. For example a list of math topics are posted addition, subtraction, and word problems. A client can purchase the tutoring session that covers addition or purchase word problems and addition. Clients do not have to worry about purchasing tutoring sessions they do not need, the commitment to ongoing sessions, and the hassle of canceling sessions.
Introduction to My Education and Socialization, llc tutor
Education and Experience
My Education and Socialization is created by Ms. Patrine Neal. She is currently working as an online tutor and has worked with the public schools system for over 20 years in the state of Michigan. During those 20 plus years, Ms. Neal worked as a general/special education paraprofessional, and as a long-term substitute teacher. Her various roles with the public schools system consist of working with students in general education and special education ages 2 ½ to 26 years old. Ms. Neal worked with students in group and individual instructional sessions. As well as, assisting Pre-K ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders) and Pre-K ECDD (Early Childhood Developmental Delay) students with unique needs to develop and enhance their skills. As a long-term substitute teacher Ms. Neal taught middle school students grades 6th to 8th with ASD and high school students with ASD grades 9th through 12th. Ms. Neal developed lesson plans according to the student’s learning needs. And she adapted/modified resource materials to each students’ educational requirements. She has worked at a Transition Center teaching exceptional students ages (18 to 26 years old) life skills, social skills, prevocational and vocational employability. In addition to working with the public schools system, Ms. Neal has worked as an ABA(Applied Behavioral Analysis) Technician with individuals with autism and as an instructor for an after school program, working with students in grades K-4th. She tutored students in the subjects of math, science, reading, and SEL (Social Emotional Learning). Currently as an online tutor Ms. Neal tutors individuals from preschoolers to adult learners. During tutoring sessions, she uses visual aids, manipulatives, stories, games, videos, songs, and scenarios to help individuals to understand the concept of the lesson. Ms. Neal has earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Masters in Arts Autism Spectrum Disorders.
